The ring travels to you
The wide world of variety on a small stage: characters, circus skill and humour, playable in 30 or 50 minutes.
A small mobile stage becomes the wide world of variety. Characters, acts and small surprises follow one another with pace, humour and precise stagecraft. “Zirkus Zirkus” plays with its audience: sometimes for a laugh, sometimes for a gasp.
You will meet Lola Hoop; Trudberta Herakles, the strongest woman in the world; Magnus Magnificante; Leopold the animal tamer; Ming Ling from the Far East; the Flaming Rose. And Madame la Directrice, who holds the whole thing together with wit and grandeur.
Versions
30 minutes as an event or theatre version; 50 minutes as a self-contained stage version for cultural programmes, cabaret venues and festivals.
Venue
With or without the touring stage: playable on your existing stage, or on the mobile stage as a ring to go.
Space
Stage area of roughly 6 × 6 metres.
